A very inspirational story about two 80 year old men who are competing to reach the summit of Mount Everest and mark their name in the Guinness Book Of Records as the oldest person to ascend Mount Everest. Yuichiro Miura from Japan and Min Badadur Sherchan from Tibet have already climbed the mountain 5 years ago where the Tibetan won the title.
It just goes to show that we are never too old to exercise or challenge ourselves. More often than not, the biggest challenge with aging is mental rather physical. Inspirational stories like this remind us that we are stronger than we think we are.
On our Paleo weight loss retreats, we take people of all ages, and we have had several women in their late 60’s. Some of these ladies have been fitter and had more energy than some of the twenty year old’s. It’s never too late.
