This Paleo chocolate cake is sugar, dairy & gluten free. If your looking for a Paleo dessert then this is a easy and quick recipe. The recipe does contain bananas which can spike your blood sugar level so I would recommend only making for a special occasion. I didn’t use baking soda in this recipe as it didn’t seem to need it. You might want to double check that the cocoa powder is 100% and doesn’t contain sugar or other additives. It’s best eaten when left to cool and tastes great served with natural probiotic yoghurt, full fat cream and some berries.

250 degrees for cake seems very hot. (I assume a UK site is using centigrade)
🙂 – Yes Peter, it’s centigrade. The cakes cooks just fine at that temp, but you can always use a lower heat if that works for you.
