What Are The Benefits?

Intermittent Fasting (IF) can help to achieve a number of health benefits such as extending life expectancy, weight/fat loss and improving overall health. Fasting has shown to improve conditions of metabolic disorders, lower the need for insulin medication, and help relieve inflammation.

If you are looking to lose weight, IF is beneficial because surprisingly it has a suppressive effect on hunger, hunger comes in a short burst but will disappear fast and give you a feeling of well being. With fewer meals per day, blood sugar levels are kept stable and energy levels improve.

3. You don’t have to worry about eating every 2 hours. Focus goes up and energy increases.
4. IF manages hormonal response to insulin. When your insulin is high you store more fat – When your insulin is low your body is in fat burning mode.
