Holly Redman, a nutritional therapist and chef will soon be opening the UK’s first gluten free and Paleo friendly restaurant in London.
Holly had been running a successful monthly restaurant event in Sussex called Pure Taste Pop Up which specialised in gluten-free and paleo diet friendly food. It was doing so well that she decided to turn the concept into a full time restaurant.
The restaurant in London will offer a new fine dining experience serving healthy and natural food.
Pure Taste will cater for coeliacs, those following the Paleo diet as well as vegetarians, vegans and those following other strict dietary regimes. They want to be able to cater for people with food allergies and intolerance’s as well as those interested in healthy eating.
You will expect to find grass fed meats and wild caught fish, healthy fats and seasonal organic produce. You won’t find foods containing gluten, dairy, grains, legumes and refined sugar.
Paleo restaurants have been opening up in Europe and America over the last few years, but it’s still relatively new to the UK. There are restaurants where you can now get gluten free meals but nothing that specifically caters for those on a Paleo diet or people with allergies or food sensitivities. Also, dishes at these restaurants will still be prepared in a gluten-rich environment where there is still risk of cross contamination.
We wish Holly continued success and all the best with the opening of the new restaurant.
